Thats a good question... why are people on here so aggressive. there are some true *******s on this forum.... some people need to grow up and be adults... I am twenty and have more maturity then alot of people on here.

These are main reasons why I really don't participate in the net stuff except to search info and buy cheap stuff....but to each of his own.

Back to topic-- RRev, English racing, do they both have their own flashes for the ecu?
The rumor spreads....I heard nothing but good thing on RRev, and English racing seems to let their Talon do the talking so I'm pretty impressed. Not sure about the TF, but I am not talking any trash. I am sure all these shops are very reputable for their work. I want to hear people's experience here...

Ok thanks and have a great day everyone! Enjoy the weather while it lasts!

i know why did i bother, anyways back on topic I have had work done at all 3 shops mentioned and have had great results at all 3. Torque freaks is the only shop that is using ecuflash out that i am aware of since they have a awd dyno makes it easier but i am shure lucas and rrev if they picked it up would have no probs.

EnglishRacing specializes in the 4g63s and has been working on them for many years. They have many cars at the track running 10s, 11s, and a truck running low 13s.

RRev is a bunch of good guys and great mechanics.

HorsepowerFreaks (we are next door to TorqueFreaks)... .Separate company. We sell parts and manufacture many EVO products.

:thumbs-up:

We're hoping to get our car back up again soon. It's down for R&D on our new fuel system currently.

TorqueFreaks tuned my car after installing a meth kit. There were some issues and I expressed dissatisfaction. I was there two weeks ago and Jason spent the entire day tuning my car, as he was not the original tuner. He found a few peak HP and TQ but to his credit, at 5500 RPM, I gained over 25 HP. The car runs very smoothly and I am very pleased with it. At the end of the day what did I owe them. NADA. They want to build relationships with the EVO community and spent an entire day of tuning on the dyno and on the road at no cost to make sure I was satisfied. That goes a long way in my book...I have no experience with the other two shops, but TF's stated that John Reed knows his stuff backwards and forwards. They weren't slammin on the competition to make themselves look better. I liked that too. I give them a serious thumbs up for my personal experiences with them. Good luck with whomever you choose.

I don't think a day goes by there are not EVO's being worked on there... I just pulled into work and there was 3 in a row out front.

TorqueFreaks does a LOT of EVO work. I'd take mine there if I had one.

Heres a shot that was 2 of the 3 evos we were doing. Same mods done on all three.

Also I do appreciate those of you who do have confidence in our abilities of tuning the 4g63. I feel it is well placed. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

We will be doing a lot more work and tuning on Evo’s now that we have access to an AWD eddie current dyno. Even though a dyno is not needed to tune, we have found that the AWD community likes to have dyno numbers. We are already dealers / tuners for AEM, HKS Vpro, and Motec and soon will be doing ECU Re-flash’s too. We plan on hitting this market hard right away, it is such a great platform. We have a lot of experience with the 4g63 in our race cars, and have discussed building a Evo race car in the near future. Please let us know if we can help in any way.

Another Torquefreaks believer here. We've had some challenges with my car, but they have always done everything possible to make things right. Fate has given them opportunities to screw me but they have taken the high road instead with sound, honorable business principles. Their Evo rep seems key to their strategy and they're heading in the right direction. Their profits and growth will only benefit the NW Evo community as we all make it clear there is more to life than Supras.

HPF being right next store is another big selling point in my book. "Shipping" time is a short walk away.

Hopefully I can have the timeslips speak for themselves soon. In the end thats what matters.
