Warning!!!! Big Scammer
Yep. And then even some of your "acquaintances" want to jump up and down on you when you want $$ up front for stuff . This is exactly why I enforce that "i need to see all the $$" up front.

It's sad when people think of advanced parts as "free." That's why credit card debt is so high these days. People love spending but hate the repayment part.

Yea most people learn the hard way. Max out their first credit card and wonder how the hell they're going to come up with $800+ to pay that balance off. Interest rapes most up the butt.

A contract is still legally binding even if it's not notorized.
I work for a tuner shop, so he just came down to my shop. That's how I got him to write that he will pay for the full amount of $500 on a piece of paper and with his own signature on it.
I just found out where he lives yesterday, and I most likely going to take him to the small claims court.

Just take him to court for double damages. Sue him for $1200 for the part, time and mental anguish from this ordeal, and court fees. $2000 is the limit for small claims in Washington I believe. There's no way you can lose in this case. The judge might toss out your amount and give you the money for just the part, court fees, and a tiny bit extra but it's worth the shot to get more and teach him a lesson. Pay the $500 like he should've and walked away with a good part or try to screw someone over and get slapped with a huge premium. If he can't pay, he'll ruin his credit + the court can order a wage garnishment.
