What are the major differences from the street sport and the race roll bar. I don't see much. Very interested however.

powder coated would be sweet - doesn't have to be GG like the car, but some shade of silver/grey would be nice

I would be game if I could get this same bar: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=202913

I believe it is the race roll with the optional harness bar.

Let me know!

BTW - anybody now what the purpose of the short cross bar is on the "race bar" (goes between the driver side vertical and the diagonal) ? Is it required for competition cert?

I believe its for use if you are running a racing seat. You can get restraints for the top of that seat that will bolt to that bar OR it is just a added bracket for support between the welded diagonal bar and drivers side bar.

Charles @ SafeDrives.com cut mine off during the installation. it is not required in the regs to have it.
