I definetly can't wait to get the hell out of this place though... grr. I need to get my car back up. Gotta get my cams in, (Buying some HKS 280's) Gotta do my headstuds springs retainers. Might have a 50 trim and some injectors b4 tuning day but thats an unknown at this time so I will see how everything goes financially. Plus I will need to get a clutch soon after that. haha. Anyways, once john knows what days he is available and we get confirm from tf that they are ready for the event on the specified days then we are in business. By the way I do great work for a good price so if anyone is interested then just pm me and we can discuss it. I went ahead and bought some of my special tools today Good thing they will be at my house by the time I get there. Take it easy guys

I was wondering the same thing? I currently own BC 280's not installed yet, but wouldnt hesitate to pull the trigger on hks 280's if they lop harder. Nobody can seem to answer my question. I have heard BC 280s tuned in an VIII and I didnt hear ****. Then I hear from everyone that the hks 280s sound unreal and have unmatched lop? Hopefully jon at jester can tune to make a cam sound rougher if wanted. How can an agressive cam not lop noticibly out the back end? Maybe im missing something or just heard one hell of a good tune from jon to make a set of cams quite? I really dont care about a couple of hp difference in the cams, I care about a nasty sound.

dude i heard miked420's car when he had cams in it. damn that thing's idle was lumpy as hell. i think they were hks 280's. might want to ask him.

You wanna get a nasty sound, I run HKS 280's with HPF GT35R open wastegate dump with HPF 3.5 in exhaust yeah its dam nasty. But yeah hks 280's will sound mean just kinda a pain at low speed in parking lots, with stock ecu they are hard to get to idle totally smooth, with aem you can get idle tamed ofcourse.

Im actually buying his cams. Basically its my preference. I dont dislike the BC280s I have seem them make power, the only thing is I like HKS. I have been in a big debate with myself on what cams to get. I was like damn BC 280s for 305 shipped vs used HKS 280s for a higher price. It all comes down to what I like. HKS are proven power and work awesome on bigger turbo setups. I will stick with HKS for my car, however I dont down BC what so ever. I think they are great cams as well. Anyways gents. Ill let you guys know whats going on

274s sound mean. 280 makes you downright nervous at low speeds, but oh man they do make power.
