Jestr Tuning April 7 Possible 8th.
evo9 with basic boltons, just finished cosworth cams install.
am waiting on a hpf i/c and received their upper i/c pipe kit a week ago, and am in the midst of installing a snowperformance meth kit. am using the windshield tank with a low level warning light, and the failsafe with boost cut.
hoping it all works once I am done with the install.

SandM, it will all work. I actually have the 7qt tank and have a custom bracket going in the trunk that the tank will sit on top of and the pump will be mounted underneath. I am custom making a bracket that attaches to the mini battery so that I can mount the boost box and the safe injection box
Its going to be a nice clean install. How do those cams sound on the IX? you should close to 400 hp with those mods. if you do headstuds maybe even more depends. Gotsushiracing. Call kyle at HPF 1 866 hpf 5600 tell him that Anthony sent you and you will get a nice discount on your parts. he is extension 111. Let me know when and if you want to do installs. I have so many damn parts to install its retarded. I know the stock clutch is going to go on the dyno so I may get my clutch b4 hand.

Im sure mark at TF will take pre payments on dyno time if you guys want to pay right now. The price is 95 bucks and there is no time limit.
503-546-9900 ask for matt
Also matt is going to be the dyno operator during the event so I think it would be cool of us to get a donation pool ready to pay the guy a tip. Hes working on his weekend so I just think its fair.

have studs already.
I have the buschur minibattery kit and since it left the 2 boltholes open next to the motor mount, I fabbed up an aluminum bracket that sits vertical next to the battery and mounted both the snow modules to it. looks good so far.
it was my 3rd attempt at a mounting location, due to the last-minute purchase of the hpf i/c piping. hoping to have all the installs finished this saturday and the car back on the road. haven't driven her since jan. 20th.
was a biotch to run the methlines under the car, but they are out of the way, tucked up with the fuel lines in wireloom.

cossi cams sound good, but not as aggressive as the hks272's on my old evo8, although the evo8 was never really tuned for the cams. had a xede that I absolutely hated and never did really get to work right. it's the main reason I sold the car.
that car had all the mods needed for a gt35 turbo and was running an xede. dude I sold it to got it tuned by shiv at dynoformance and laid down just a tad over 300whp/wtq after the tune. weak..

I cant say anything about shiv as I dont know him and I havnt ready any posts about him haha. I just know john works some serious magic. I know of a tuner that did a road tune on my roommates car and the car put down 234 awhp on the dynojet :-\ Kinda lame if you ask me this was an 06 MR. John got done with the car and it was at the 350/350 mark. Im excited about the tune because I definetly have enough mods to make over 400 awhp. Are you in Idaho man? I had no idea. Thats cool. I am hoping that we can have a get together in the morning and roll all the evos down there at once. It may be hard though haha.

yea, here in boise. not many evo's in this area. think about a dozen or so, and only a few that have any sort of mods on them. have been to slc for the last custom tune that I had(dynoflash), so looking forward to a change of venues. bought my old evo8 from adam at altaminiworks, so a little familiar with the portland area as we spent a few days in the area. am in the market for a hotel, and am going to try and stay around the airport where torquefreaks is, so not much driving for me to get there unless they are too expensive. otherwise it's the wingate inn out by orenco station. they have a killer secured underground parking area
long story, but bought the evo from south coast. mark told me for a completed jdpowers survey, he would spring for a gascard. the car was delivered to me with the fuel light on and took 13.5 gallons to fill(was a first for me to buy a new car empty). sent the survey and, after 6 or 7 pm's, never did get a gascard. there are several threads about mark doing the same thing. last month, 10 months later, he offered to send the gascard again. I politely declined, as it was never about the $$, but the principle.
they have good prices, but the service/followup is on-par with any stereotype of a car dealer/salesman.
anyways...
if you guys are going to camp out in portland for the night, should all try to stay in the same hotel.
maybe someone from portland area could recommend a few good hotels with secured parking(preferrably underground/locked) in the vicinity? have heard that some parts of the airport area are not the best to be in..
