Anybody seen the new one around town. White XI w/ a cf hood? Just seen it on Francis on Monday. Up in the Salk Middle School area.

 

Are you sure its a IX? My buddy bought an VIII from Appleway, and it was a total piece, clutch throwout bearing was going, synchro issues, and a bad o2 sensor. They tried to void the warranty 2 weeks after he bought it, and he bought it with the stuff on it that they were using to void it. He got his lawyer involved, and they took the car back. It was a white VIII, with a black hood, and advan stickers on it.

 

Hey, what's up? I have the RnR built Yellow evo that runs up there. I will bring my car back there once the race season starts. Sounds like we might have a few fast Evo's this year.

 

Thats suprising. Ive dealt with Seth in the service dept. numerous times and even with all my mods Ive never had a warranty issue. Had the t-case fixed last year and wing replaced and the fixed a plugged tranny vent.

 

Yeah Seth rocks when it comes to mods and warranty issues. I had plenty with my last mirage and he generally turned a blind eye to them.
Only thing that has frustrated me was when they swapped my blown motor out for the new one my Cam Sensor went bad and they told me it was the ECU so I bought a brand new ECU just to find out it was a part that i had a spare for. Being 17 at the time I didn't fight the cost that they made me pay. Ended up being almost 500 bucks to replace the part I could have done myself.


I though it had a FB from a XI but like I said it was in passing. It definately wasn't just a black hood though. It was Carbon Fiber. I could tell by the glare when I passed it.

ya i dorve the white one about 4 mouths ago its from montana it has alot of problems i also had a lawsuit with appleway 3 years ago and won
