Evos are pretty heavy?? Dont think you can win easily...

 

So you are telling me the 2.4-2.8 second 60' times that a turbo FWD are gonna run on STREET tires isnt gonna make up for any additional weight? Already been there done that and beat the car by running a 12.8 as I recall to his 13.3 and he WAS on slicks. It did happen to be 95* out but still, I dont think there is much to worry about in this race.

 

Oh well i just want a fun.. but i dont want crash my evo...

 

hawaiian... If its built and driven well he will likely beat you, but since its a friendly competition at a track give it a shot and let us know how you fare

Ok you will win as long as you are 12s. Low to mid 12s will beat 95% of hondas on the 1/4 mile in wa. Nothing to worry about until you go to boti seattle, in aug. good luck let us know. Who cares how you type, I am sure you type better than your buddy who owns the h22 turbo.

 

Did you ever find out what kind of turbo he has? Any updates?

 

amen +1, never a fan of drag, especially with an evo. take him to do some autocross, or just challenge him to a lapping session, thats where the evo should belong.
