There is no president. Ryan stepped down. Everett is still VP but because of his physical distance from most members of the club, Josh kinda stepping in until we did elections. Then he went on deployment and a lot of this got dropped on me
. Right now we are going with the council until full elections are called. The council right now is Seth, Mike (MeKilla), Everett and myself.Full elections will be called sometime this summer. Right now the big thing is to try to figure out what the club's identity is. It still kinda uses the original draft from 2005 but I am pretty sure our direction from then has changed and that has to be sorted out. Going into elections a couple of things are clear:
1) Both the President and the VP cannot both be military since that gives rise to the possiblity that both of them get deployed at the same time
2) Neither role can be staffed by a member who has been in the club less than 6 months (we have to know you before we vote for you)
3) Any election cannot take place unless there is some (as yet undefined) quorum of regular members there (defined as containing members who have been with the club 3 months or more). Everett brought up a good point at the meet we had in Feb...how can new members vote for people they just meet for the first time 30 mins before an election
?We do want to hear other feedback as well though.
I should also point out that I will not be running for any posts and will re-direct anyone's nominations of me to the trash bin.

. We've just always been a bit controlled with who these decals go to (i.e NWE decal on a hyundai probably won't go down to well). We don't want to get any profiling started (such as the famous IllTech white evo which was all over the cop's radar last year...)Edit. I should add that there really isn't a Tacoma chapter per se. Most of the people on the eastside and even our bremerton friends are all in this same one. Technically there should be a portland one too but last time Everett and them had some issues getting that one off the ground

WOW, not even mentined as part of the council? Thanks a lot guys. I think I am going to take back my role as Prez since this whole elction process is taking so long.
Thats not the reason Chris.
It was because at the time I got promoted and was getting sent to all kinds of schools. Now thats over and as stated in my last post the club isnt getting very far logistically in my point of view.

I would disagree that there isn't a Tacoma Chapter....maybe not officially named, but we still have WEEKLY meets and get together all the time for events and such. I would say the bond that the Tacoma guys have is stronger than any I have seen yet(aside from the lancer guys....wow what dedication)
Anyway, on a beautiful day we will have anywhere between 12-18 EVO's, so IMHO.....I would say we qualify to be a chapter.
Just my .02

Well someone needs to make a meet where we ALL meet. I really only know the guys that show up at KK on Fridays and other fun events.
I don't see why Ryan can't be Prez. I think no Army should be council, because our deployments are over a year long.

james, i know ur problly going to kick my a$$ when i say this, but, its cool...there doesnt have to be a "tacoma chapter" that makes everything so much more complicated and also it segregates ppl from within its own group....thats going to lead to s**t talking, "tacoma crew is better than seattle", and DRAMA....
not that i have anything to do with the "tacoma crew" or anyone
and i know that the ppl from tacoma hang out more becus theres lots more ppl in NWE from the tacoma area, and its easier to just call and say ok, 30 minutes, its harder for the guys in Mill Creek to say ok let me just drop the world and come see u guys....i just dont like drama and segregation....you cant be clicky by ur zipcodes i mean come on.....we're all adults here...
ryan is president, becus i dont think that "P" under his signature stands for his name.....i think P=Prez? i dont know but that sounds right to me.....
also...isnt he the founder of this club?
