Haha, I knew it was you, what happened to the sti? Is it a true GT-R or is it a debadged GTS?
well i have been pulled over in my GTR like 4 times on post.
no front plate (doesnt come with one for this coutry)
loud exhaust ( huge 4 inch that is way to loud for me, but i tell em it is stock)
and i have been pulled over just because i am driving a skyline. F`in BS. i get harssed because he doesnt think i should have a car he cant have. MP`s are lame.
EVO Tweeker your points are very good. hiring a lawer for fedral court is spendy though. since your getting a ticket on GOV. prperty. you have to go to fedral court. witch takes for ever because they do all of the traffic violations last. and you are provided with free council.
yes it is a lwer in training, but it is still free. and the 3 tickets i have had to go to court for were all through out. 2 for expired tags ( 2 days apart) and the other was from a exhaust ticket.

Never been hasseled about the front plates but received 2 warnings on post about my exhaust before I left for Iraq. MP's need to find something better to do with their time.
Its ok for the gobber on the Harley to hit 150 db but if they even think we are anything other then stock you get pulled over.
Really sucks with a srt because they dont come with a muffler from the dealer.

it is a true GTR, not going to half *** it, lol.. trying to sell the STI. 25k as it sits brand new long block
wonder if we could file a complaint with the Base comander or something. pretty sure a simple letter would do something....
I have been on Ft. Lewis lately with my tuned audi and it does have a german plate. I have never been harassed by the MP's there. I agree with you all about the MP's screwing with you guys. Since the military is not a democracy, I don't believe complaining to the PC will do any good but just make the Sh*t roll down hill and it always lands back on you. If you feel you are being harassed by the same MP or for un-founded reasons you need to contact your chain of command and deal with it that way. Btw.....any of you guys on Ft. Lewis want to gtg for a laser jammer demo?

yea i agree with you about nothing will happen. seems that the few MP`s that are not deployed are just bored, or they have been instructed to crack down on specific issues.

Completely off topic, But I must ask, BrewPuBeaver, Were you in Olympia a few weeks back at Red Robins with your Skyline parked next to an Sti?? I drove by and I swear that car looks excatly like the one I saw that day...
i am driving the STI this week (stock now) and the gate gaurds give me **** cause i have a wing....

^ what that doens't make sense???? They don't say anything to me and I use the gate couple of time a day. The only time when they said anything to me was that I still had my number from the track the day prior. And all they said was ok or did you win?? So I dunno if it was one of the MP's working at the gate or the guards??
one of the gate guards, looked about 60ish asked why i need such a huge wing... (stock STI wing) i told him it was for down foce and it aids in high speed cornering.

what prompted your ticket? how do they know what is stock and whats not?! i hate the cops. i mean really, if your stock exhaust rusts out, your'e supposed to replace it with another one that will do the same!? pfft....whatever....

Off topic but this is an awesome car
On a similar note, I was coming in through main gate a couple of months ago and a MP made a u-turn and followed me in. He was moving at a snail's pace but I knew his intentions....I made a safe left and after I saw him following me I pulled into the gas station and got out.......I Just stared at him as I was walking into the shoppette.
