Matrix Engineering & Vishnu Tuning Day

Big props go out to Jeremy@Matrix Engineering and Shiv from Vishnu Tuning. It was a great weekend. Everything went very smoothly, thanks to Jeremy's professionalism and hard work. Jeremy always made time for everyone while he multi-tasked at every level of the whole gig. Shiv was very cool. He was extremely professional, focussed and adept. He definitely inspired confidence.

XEDE tuning. NICE! Good gains, SMOOTH power delivery. It really makes the car what it should be. The car feels like it has one nice large power band now. Not a big lumpy mid-range with a flacid top end. It's one nice contiguous pull. It feels SO good.

As a side note... I highly recommend taking a ride with Shiv behind the wheel. Definitely an E-ticket ride. I clawed at the dashboard and screamed like a cheerleader on prom night (ok, I didn;t, but it definitely got the adreniline pumping).

Big kudos and lots of respect to everyone involved for making the experience great. Thanks guys.

Don,

You're very welcome. Thanks for the kind words.

Big thanks to you and to everyone else for making the day such a success--and of course to Shiv for the awesome tuning. I always love dyno/tuning days b/c I get to see all of your smiling faces after you take the car for a final spin.

Best,
Jeremy

PS---You left your pom-pom's here.

Hi guys,

Thanks to everyone who came and joined in on the tuning day. It was a real pleasure meeting everyone and putting faces to names. Those two tuning days were long and tiring but you guys made it worthwhile! Special thanks to the Jeremy and the other guys at Matrix Engeering who did an AWESOME job of keeping things running smoothly. It's real nice to see a fully-equipped shop (AWD Dyno, lotsa lifts, etc,.) that really cares a lot about their products and their service. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Also, I'm trying to collect some pictures of the tuning days. I forgot to bring my digital camerea. If anyone has any good pics of the event, pls send them to me and I'll put them up on our website. Of course, I'll mention who they cam from

Cheers,
shiv

Put it together Jason and we'll do it. I already have two other local EVO's that are interested so 3 is a good number to start with, eh?

NASIOC as well;

hey Shiv I have a couple of questions for you, number one when does your stage 1 package for the Evo get released and what will be in the package? I will not even ask HP and TQ figues as I am sure that those will be released at the same time. Number two, I noticed on the boost plot for the Xede that the boost falls off at the top end though not as much as stock. I am sorry if this subject has already been broached before, but is there a reason for not keeping the boost pressure up? Last question, I am interested in the Xede due to the nearly limitless tuning capabilities inherent in its design as you can plug into laptop and then tune. I realise that the rolling dyno is far and above the best way to tune, but is there any book or paper ect that teaches the particulars of turbo tuning and how makeing changes through the computer will effect other parameters? I am very familiar with normally aspirated engines but the forced induction route is a little new to me. Sorry about the lenght of explanations involved, I am just curious and judging by the results from the SCC article your shop has its **** together. Thanks for the time.
