It actually does run 10's with the 18in DR in street trim, so you are pretty close. BUT, if it had a cage, slicks and a TH400 like my car, it would almost click off an 8.

But thanks for the compliment, I do think the thread is kinda cute

Please don't try to compare a track car to a street car

Please don't try to compare an evo to a supra.

Two cars capable of fulfilling two very different roles.

The car was spinning tires bad, so we had to get out of it at 7300RPM.
I think bro bards started it, I just added fuel to the fire

I started this thread to poke at Paul, we both live near each other and have similar power so we give each other a little ****.

To answer some of the things you wrote earlier:
-Pauls car does the 1/4 quicker than mine, from a roll we would probably be even.
-My car does run a high 10 with that power (only got one ****ty pass before being tossed from the track for no cage) on 18" drag radials. With a cage, slicks, and more track time I would anticipate Paul and I would be a good match.
- The power of the two engines are comparable as they are using the same turbos. On forced induction engines the ultimate power potential of an engine is dependent on the compressor wheel size. Paul does have 2 less cylinders and 1 less liter of displacement, but he also runs VP import gas, and 20psi more than me.

Again, I did not make this thread to take anything away from what Paul has done with his car. It is just a fun way to poke at him alittle bit (I know how much Paul likes to be poked )

Im glad someone is adding fuel to the fire... Im getting bored with the tracks closed

I will tell you this... An AWD is a lot of fun in the winter. Lucas and I used to do a lot of "competitive cruising" a few years back in our DSM's. I bet his Evo would be unbeatable out there this year. Although, maybe on a dry evening Ill drag the Mudstain out to run him

Keep it going guys, that is why my brother posted.... Trying to have some fun !

Brian, I think only you knows how Paul likes to be poked. HAHAHAHA

Even though you have 1000+ HP, you can't even keep up with my Domestics with half the power

What do they say, "theres no replacement for displacement"...

Where's the challenge to the domestics? ive done that and my Brain is left wanting moreI would rather watch strippers any night of the week than work on a domestic. Much more fun working on a 4 cyl and awd.

Brian with my car setup right i should be trapping well into the 160+ mph i really feel your car would not even get close to me. My car also has awd,2700lbs

Me and Lucas took my car out and spun her to 10,000rpms and 55psi on the street i was spinning 2nd,3rd and 4th real bad. If you look at AMS who dynoed at 1050whp and weigh about 2400lbs where trapping 171mph which if im not mistaken beats your all methanol 250 shot nitrous Shop Supra in mph in the 1/4

So this next race season should be awesome with the new tricks we have up our sleeves to get my car up there

Wouldn't you say Tim we have come farther in 1 year than most you know?

I don't even want to approach the ways in which Paul likes to be poked.

Thats an issue for Off-Topic, they will eat anything with homo-erotic undertones up.

Tim I'm trying my best, it must be effing freezing up by you right now. I'm on the beach in 70 degree weather in charleston SC.
