Actually the Nisei kit (http://www.nisei-evo.com/) fits with the stock intake, but I have not been able to get a hold of anybody there for a long time - don't know if they are still in business ... also I think the Perrin boost tube does as well, but it's not metal

Haha, definitely do not go with the Perrin unit if you were going to buy an UICP, it only replaces the top half and is pretty much worthless. The UICP, in general, will not show any power gains on a mild setup, let alone on the larger ones. I couldn't really help you out with the Nisei units because I have not had any experience with them. Many people love Nisei, but I stick with what I know.

They are pretty much the only one that does to cause I was looking into the same thing. Got my LICP from them and it works ok so far.

If you want to make your own, you don't actually need to weld it (welding Al is tricky because you need to do it under an inert gas). There are special brazing rods you can use which only require a propane torch:

Ralph, TIG welding machine is do for speical metal.. like Brass, Chorme, molly steel, all kind metals, Alum, Mags everthing, make sure TIG have AC/DC power to use.. I have TIG Miller Schrowave 230 AC/DC. weld with rod sticks

MIG welding is for Metal only like steels. (not alum or whatevers) but there have add on Alum spool welding handler.. Welding with wire feeder..

TIG is overall everything.. or i must mistood your post?? lol

also i have Alum Welding I-CAR creficates for Automotive collision body repairs and structions
i love TIG and MIG both, i can do Ace/oxy gas welding.. but it all good..

hehe ... I know you know how to weld aluminum, the brazing sticks are for the rest of us who don't know how or don't have the equipment. A propane torch is a lot cheaper than a TIG welder .
