Pacific Raceways - Feb. 10th!
So Pacific Raceways' first test n' tune day is scheduled for February 10th. They don't have times posted yet, but more to come as info becomes available. This is posted on DSMTuners, EVOm, and a couple DSM/EVO MySpace groups. Just let me know and I'll update the list. Tell me if you are planning on racing or spectating only.
I will be there for sure with my GSX. Everyone should come to this test n' tune. Post your first name and if you are planning on racing or spectating.

-Bring around $50 for race fees/competition number, food, etc.
-Bring $30 extra dollars if you want to fill up with the Sunoco race gas they have on pump there
-If you run 13.99 or faster, you must have a helmet, or they can make you stop racing
-If you run 11.49 or faster, you must have at least a roll bar installed in the car
-Bring long pants, a sleeved shirt and closed toe'd shoes. T-shirts are fine but shorts, tank tops, and sandals/flip flops are not allowed due to fire issues
-Bring some extra tools in case something breaks and put them in a friend's car that's not racing
-Bring extra parts (oil, coolant, clamps, spark plugs, etc.) and put them in a friend's car that's not racing.
DRAGSTRIP TECH:
This is what the tech people at the drapstrips are going to be looking for when they are checking your car for safety:
-Battery tie-down (You MUST have this)
-ALL lugnuts are present and properly secured
-Sealed NHRA approved battery box (For those with relocated batteries)
-Coolant overflow tank is installed and won't move
-Seats are properly mounted and are sturdy
-Seatbelts/harnesses are bolted down and function properly
-No massive fluid leaks (A little oil or coolant is ok usually)
-Clothes (Again, no sleeveless shirts, shorts, or open-toe'd shoes)
-Helmet (Again, if you run 13.99 or faster, a helmet is required. Big events like Battle of the Imports require a helmet with a Snell 2000 rating or higher)
I will be there for sure with my GSX. Everyone should come to this test n' tune. Post your first name and if you are planning on racing or spectating.
