It either has cams, meth injection, or IX turbo. No VIII with those mods will make that power...they would be lucky to break 300whp.

On a dyno dynamics??? Not unless you had way more mods than that guy. I don't care if buddha himself tuned it. Maybe on a dynojet thats possible but almost 50whp more than what most VIII's make on that kinda of dyno. Thats more than what most IX's make with those mods.

Yep the dyno type and location are very important. You can have dynos of the same type that read completely different.

They tend to read high though. If you put down 300whp on a mustang/dyno dynamics you are doing that and some

Robert, could you get Andre to recalibrate the boost line on the dyno? From last summer it was reading about 1-1.5 psi low (correlated by 2 separate EBCs on the dyno in June). Yesterday according to my JDM map, the boost readout on the dyno was reading about .8/.9 psi low.

I didn't check Kevin's AVC-R to correlate (I should have).

I put down 251.9WHP in the end with a 23->19psi setup. ECU boost was really wavy and that kinda killed both the AFRs and the curve (curve is a bit curvy). For my next flash I have increased the resolution in the 220-260 load areas.

Stock its 200, 220, 240, 260. I now have 200, 220, 230, 240, 250 and 260. Should be able to get much finer fuel changes in the map now.

Sucks when you can only tune in 3rd on the street, and then have to go and run 4th on the dyno (if your just not hunting "big" numbers). Andre was talking about renting some dyno time and I might just do that assuming work plays nicely before the next day in June .

Are you gonna try the 3port? I am working on getting a tune from Bryan for one soon maybe. I need to order an LC1 first though. Btw your 275whp was done on that dyno too, what was different this time?

Also seems that alot of people get "dynodynamics" and "dynojet" mixed up. VIII's putting down 330whp with an exhaust, intake, and tune on that dyno Maybe with race gas.

275 was on a DynoJet in Kirkland in Nov. I have to update the sig...just haven't as yet.

When Bryan gets the 3 port plug and play going then yes.
