New Evo owner and relatively new to the NW

Hey guys, I just picked up a IX GG SE from San Diego. It's my first turbo car and I'm new to the area as well. Just moved from San Diego.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and see if there are any good local shops for our Evos. Also, when it comes to audio/alarm work and such if anyone has any good suggestions for pricing and work.

Do we have any local tuners out here? I wouldn't mind having someone be able to talk to for advice on what I should be doing with the car.

Right now I'm just trying to learn everything I can about it, and having some local contacts would definitely be useful.

Thanks guys.

I'm going to look into English Racing, but I was hoping to find something a little more local for the simple stuff. I'm not terribly mechanically inclined and for simple installations that might need a tune I'd like to not have to drive ~4 hours.

Also, there aren't really any dealerships near me, so for simple fluid changes and such I'd like to find someone who would use the right fluids (and actually know which fluids to use!).

First few things I'll likely do are cone air intake, exhaust, and MBC so I'd like someone somewhat close to be able to tune me up after the change.

As per PM. West Werks is the place in the redmond/seattle/bellevue area to go to. Full Stop. The End. Look at the people on here in this area who use them exclusively. They all know their cars, their parts and only go to them. Nuff said. Installs/maintenance etc. they are the place. English Racing if you don't mind the drive.

For parts you can check out World One.

For the Tune, JohnBradley (MidgetSpec) or Lucas should be able to help you out. JB probably does more remote flashing that Lucas (even though I stand to be corrected) so if you can't meet up with Lucas at some point when he comes up north JB is probably your best bet.

Yeah, I've tried VERY hard to work with World1 to take my money, but everything I've purchased from them has had a problem. From Sway bars, AFR gauges, exhaust, and OMG my brakes I just won't deal with them anymore... I'm gone Wednesday for a track day and if I don't have pads by then I'm going to be screwed.
