wash and detail questions

Just did a quick wash today. I was wondering, do you guys get sand/silt in the recessed corners of the rims? Is there a trick to reduce the accumulation like waxing the rim or something? Also is there a detailer in the shelton/olympia area that someone would recc. I need to have the car clay barred and all.

If you were closer to Reno I'd do your car . As far as getting the stuff out of the wheels you can use a wheel wax and it'll help a bit. Check this out: http://www.autogeek.net/dpspwhkit.html . It's a great gel wheel cleaner that won't harm the clear coat on the wheels and than the glaze will offer some protection and make them a little slicker, so hopefully the salt won't get stuck in the wheel.
