Pacific Raceways Drag Racing Rules & Regulations
ALL NHRA RULES APPLY: Please refer to the 2007 NHRA Rulebook for clarification.
WRISTBAND: Must be worn during the duration of the event.
COMPETITION NUMBERS: You must purchase a 2007 competition number to participate at Pacific Raceways.
DRIVERS RESPONSIBILITY: Any infraction may result in disqualification (driver can be disqualified for the actions of their crew).
PLEASE - NO ENGINE NOISE PRIOR TO 9 AM OR AFTER 5 PM during February, March, April, September and October or 11pm May through August on Friday & Saturday (10 pm on Wednesday)
SPEED LIMIT: 10 mph all roads.
WARM UPS: All warm-ups must be confined to the pit area. Jack stands must be used.
RESTRICTED AREAS: All persons entering the restricted areas must sign the waiver and release prior to entering. Restricted area wristband must be in plain view. Signup is in Suite 103 at the bottom of the Tower.
CHILDREN UNDER 18: Minor release forms must be filled out and turned in at racer registration (Suite 103 Tower).
TECHNICAL/SAFETY INSPECTION: Please fill out your tech card legibly in pen and sign. You must pass Tech prior to making a run.
STAGING/TIME TRIALS/ELIMINATIONS: DO NOT PULL into the staging lanes until your class has been called. Please report to the staging lanes when you are called. Please monitor the PA or 540 AM for staging lane assignments. Run order and Lane Assignments for Performance Corner ET Series – Sportsman - Lanes 5-6, Pro - Lanes 1-4, Super Pro - Lanes 1-2, Motorcycles - Lane 7.
DIAL-INS: Must be the same and located on front window, drivers side, and rear window. Motorcycles must report numbers and dial-ins to the tower before eliminations or have displayed on Motorcycle. You cannot dial out of your bracket. Jr. Dragsters must have dial-ins permanently displayed. No dial-ins on tires!
SPLIT TREE/MOTORCYCLES: The tree for motorcycles in eliminations is set up for a .500 full tree, those riders wishing to receive a .400 pro tree must display their dial-in as: (example 9.50P). Time trials will be run separately.
SCOREBOARDS: During eliminations it is your responsibility to check your dial-in prior to staging. If it’s not correct you must notify the starter. Upon staging you have accepted the race.
INCREMENTAL TIMES (60', 330, 660', 1,000'): These times are provided as an extra and are not guaranteed.
EXCESSIVE BRAKING: There will be no excessive braking at the finish line - starters or race directors decision is final.
TAIL LIGHTS: Night racing, lights must be on when leaving the staging lanes. No blinking lights.
OIL DISPOSAL: All oil must be dumped in the oil trailer located near the gas pumps.
PIT VEHICLES: No one under the age of 16 is allowed to operate a motorized or wheeled vehicle at any time. Vehicle may be confiscated until end of event.
TEAM PACIFIC RACEWAYS PIRATES: You must sign up when registering for your competition number to run for points.
RACE DIRECTOR: Decisions are final in all cases.
SECURE TRACK: The gates will be locked 30 minutes after the last car crosses the finish line.
RAINOUT POLICY: NO REFUNDS. If rain or other occurrence halts racing ANY time before the completion of the first round of eliminations for your class, racers will receive 50% credit of entry fee and there will be no payout. If rain or other occurrence halts racing after the first round of eliminations for your class, points will be awarded to that point and payout will divided among the remaining racers.

Looks like the weather is going to come down to the wire. Weather.com show only a 10-20% chance of rain all day Friday, but wunderground.com shows a 40% chance most of the day. So it may just work out.

bad news i keep run 13s and my clutch is slipping bad..,. and i gave up 4th run. and clutch stock smell bad.. so im going drop clutch to world one tomorrow. i hope done by monday or tuesday then ill redo on friday Pacific raceways or Bremerton raceways or Saturday at PIR portland int raceway
