tire shopping

im look extreme cheap,

im think get federal super street tires like lucas had one.. or BF goodrich KDW or KDW2

i think i can get 245 fit on instead oem size 235/45/17.. maybe 255??? Example i get 245/40 or 45/17 or 255/45 or 40/17 it will fit good on oem enkei wheels?

i want cheap for now as beater wheels.. so im think order new rims and tires (Toyo RA1 or 888, Bridgesport RE01 or Falken eh)

im going order Eastwood Fender roller lip kits... also i have cornwell tool heat gun to not get paint crack or peel.. Anyone wanna me do your evo fender roller

Chris

You can pretty much count on having the paint craking unless you are willing to spend 20 hours to roll one side

Cheap tire with decent performance = Falken 615

If you want something thats good at the track and doesn't get greasy after two laps get the Bridgestone RE01R or Dunlop Z1. Z1 being the best if you can find them.

The Falkens are greasy at the track and suck in the rain. They are cheap though and work well on the street if thats all you need. I wouldn't do 245/40 either. Its too short and will mess with your gearing. If you plan to drag more I would go with a 245/45. If you plan to autoX/road race go with a 255.

I'm running goodyear gs-d3's right now, and they're a good all around summer tire/all season tire. I've ran them through two puget sound snow seasons w/ no trouble and they do pretty damn good in wet weather.
