Prayers...

I just want to take a little space on the forum to tell you all about a great little boy. His name is Brock and he is the youngest of two sons to a very good friend of mine. He was diagnosed with Lukemia a little over a year ago now. He has been living most of that time in between Childrens hospital up in the city and the Ronald Mc Donald house. He went through radiation and bone marrow transplants. With his older 5 year old brother being the donner. It was a long arduous year and he made it back home for about two months. He had to be confined to his house and not attend any school or daycare, because his imune system had to build back up. We got a call last night that he was admitted once again. The cancer is back and strong. We were told he is not a canidate for radiation because he has had a life time supply already. The best they can tell right now they think his brothers bone marrow was too perfect of a match and his body thinks it's his own and somehow is letting the cancer come back. I really don't understand it all. I was told they are giving him a 20% rating. And they doubt even if they find another donnor that he will not be strong enough to go through it all again.

If you believe in prayer or even if you don't, can you think of him...

Thanks everyone! I have been told a several times lately that the power of positive thinking really works. I can't say I have lived that way over the span of my life. I think I have always been good hearted, and think positivly for the most part. But things like this make you really think about all aspects of your life. And I know this has really made me step back and look at things differently. Good things always seem to happen when your happy. And when bad things happen sometimes it seems like your in a rut... Makes you wonder.

I'll update when I know more.

Thanks again.
