dyno question

dyno question

when getting a dyno tune how much would results be thrown off by weight being entered really high. my last dyno my weight was entered over 3600 lbs.

The tune will not be effected at all. It is the before and after you need to look at. The final number is only good for internet bragging.

cool ty, was just curious though with intake and catback and uicp i got 286 to the tires on kito's mustang dyno with 3663 for weight. what might the numbers had been with accurate weight?

lol jake i have a membership but i keep bulking up

Trust me, your not the only one

I like to put on a few pounds in the summer, to keep me nice and warm in the winter.

On a eddy current dyno if the weight (load) is greatly off (which yours is not) it CAN affect the tune. The extra load can put you into cells that you might not be in on the street.
