Im asking this for a friend of mine. he want to get a iphone but he want to stay with verizon. can he get a iphone of ebay and have somebody unlock it for verzion?

Verizon is on a CDMA network
At&t, t mobile, yada yada are all on a GSM network (sim cards)

You cant us a GSM phone on a CDMA network...

So tell your (friend) U that you cant do it...
