4300k....but after awhile their light output changes. They sell 5000k which is suppose to match used OEM bulbs.

 

what about yours? or is the VIII and IX have the same output?

 

I had the almost the same thing happen to my IX... except it was the ballast. It was blue instead of a purple tho.

 

I have 5800k Philips Ultinons. Stock though they both have 4300k bulbs the IX's have slighly tinted projectors though.

 

I did an after market kit, and I have 8000k. I was really surprised of how good they look. I wanted a little purple tint with a lot of white/clear out put, and thats just what I got!

 

Everything on the IX's are better then the VIII. well except for the wing. thats only thing I don't like on the IX. coz its not full CF wing.

 

mmm today i just swap to meredces AMG HIDs.. and i get more blueish and WHITE on road.. look sick!

 

what did you buy for your fog lights... i want to do mine.. i dont know how

 

Your going to need whole new headlights...that is unless you already swapped out your stock GSR ones.

 

Yes jake u need New headlight housing.. u need MR or SE or SSL or 03' Evo headlight. that have HID and Fog light inside..

RS and GSR (non SSL) they dont have HID.. they fully shut FOG light. like filled plastic.. and halogen headlight n high beam

I start my own project.. i got 05 MR headlights for 200$ pairs with OEM HID n ballast everything..,and i got OLEG for Wiring harness for HID n FOG from his slavage Evo.. i pay him.., and i did..
