Now i know that the yellow and green LED's in my dash are for a meth kit. (Thanks for the help yesterday guy's )It seems that instead of using a seperate meth tank the previous owner decided to use the windshield washer bottle. I have spent the last four hours trying to learn all about meth injection.

Now for some questions.........

After multiple search's on this site and the internet it seems that a 50/50 mix of methanol and distilled water is preferred. Can someone with more experience confirm or deny this?

I have read that some people mix their own with -20 washer fluid and HEET. This makes me a little nervous but i don't know if i should be or not. I know that the LED's pertain to the meth kit and that they have to do with the failsafe but what do they actually mean? I would personaly just run 100% meth, i have never been a fan of diluting it. A fail safe is something that will turn down boost/timing when meth pressure becomes low. example: if you are running out of meth/ have a leak the car will protect its self by pulling boost/timing.

What i would suggest is get a hold of English Racing, to take about fail safes and tuning for the meth kit.

 

50:50 mix is said to cool better and most ppl run it so there not spending as much on meth, and it is prolly a little nicer on your pump than 100% meth. but i personally run 100% and know many others who run 100% as well.

now the leds usually green means armed, yellow means that the system is spraying and red means you only have about 1/3 left. now im guessing based off your discription that your kit is prolly a old ams kit that was built by alkycontrol.com. if thats the case you can go to there website or call them and the guys there are really cool and will tell you everything you need to know and answer all your questions.
