Beaverton Mitsu closing their doors
They arent closing for good as so to speak. They are moving operations to Hillsboro on TV HWY around the Sunset Esplanade. This is a good move actually, and a much better, and nicer, location. They are running some good deals on the Evo's right now. $1,000 below MSRP. I know its not as good as some other vendors, but at least you get this locally and dont have to ship.
If you are interested, talk to Mike Jeffers, and tell him I sent you.

I am shocked that even Dick Hannah Mitsu in Vancouver Wa. closed shop. They are a huge dealership, and I almost bought my evo there too.
Eh? I don't know where you got that info, but it is incorrect. I would LOVE it if they moved to Hillsboro. I work in Hillsboro, and it would be so convenient for me to get my evo serviced if Bvtn Mitsu moved there. But sadly, if you call Beaverton's old phone #, the answering machine tells you to go to Town & Country Mitsu in Milwaukee. I spoke with the service advisor at T&C, and he said basically all Mitsu dealers in the Portland metro area have closed except them, and they now service a very large geographical area that extends to Idaho and the Oregon coast. I wish you were right, but you're not, and I am really sad to see all these dealers gone.

Hey, I knew Jack! He's a great guy, and an extremely competent service advisor. I'm glad he's landed on his feet in the midst of this turmoil. But i don't think I'll take my car to Hyundai. If I'm taking it to a dealer, it will have to be a mitsu dealer, so I know the techs have been trained to work on my car. It's also important to know that they stock all the right parts which are original equipment from Mitsu. If I were going for someplace other than a mitsu dealer, I might as well take my chances and find a cheaper independent shop. I think you'll enjoy doing the oil changes. Every oil change on my Evo since it was brand new was done by me, and I loved doing every single one of them!
