Hey chris long time no hear. While the paint job is different and will get some looks if you did this mainly for your business then you should have put large logos on the side with the name/contact info.

Right now looks like that info is only at the back of the car and its small. Not easy for people to follow up if they wanted to come and check you out. Plus the colours don't really tell me much...are they the colours of your business? Or something? Nor do the shapes look like anything that really tells me what your business does.

My 20 cents.

hey man whats going on.

the main deal with the car is that i just thought it looked good. i saw a similar design on a gallardo and just thought what the hell... it was bold, different and original, and im not the type to care what other people think about my car so i tend to just do things i wanna do.

as for the look of the car related to business... its more of an attention getter for sitting outside the store. people see me all over the place and will know the car when they see it seeing at the shop. thats about it. its more of a "hey the guy that owns that shop has the camo evo" kinda deal. and i get people in the store almost everyday that say they saw me driving around at one time or another... so i know its working.

thats and it looks damn cool while im rallying the hell out of it up in the snow with the snowboards attached to the roof.

I live near by and see this car every day. Regardless of what anyone says about it, IT GETS LOOKS. And that's the point, isn't it?

Personally, as a Rally Driver, a degree in marketing and to some degree a motorsports promoter, I think the car is awesome. It is well done, well thought out, complete and professional. It doesn't look like it was done with rattle can and a **** poor masking job... it is damn show quality.

I like it.

Sure, you can see a cow in it (especially the first pic where they gray is lost and it looks like big black and white spots), but in person, it's totally urban camo and pretty cool.

Some of the cheesy front and rear spoilers some of you boys put on your cars look FAR worse that this ever will.

So I give it two thumbs up, for what it's worth (and that might not be much).

Enjoy your ride, Chris.... and keep the "Rallying" to a safe, controlled environment. If you need a place, call me... Schools, events, stage rallys, I've got the hook up.

Scott

^ I find it quite appealing that you'd back this guy up. I'd agree the firt pic does look a bit like what people have referenced it to, but overall I think the car looks good as well and sounds like it fits his need. However, I find it quite immature that you'd then make a statment bashing others (probably me) about modifying their cars with body kits. The owner of this post obviously painted his car that way for a reason, as did I add a few aftermarket body parts, but IMO one isn't greater then the other.

Read it correctly. I did not say that body kits were lame, I said that SOME body kits were lame and that EVEN YOU have to admit that there is some pretty butt ugly after market bits available out there and the poser wannabe owners of the gleaming examples of what gave "rice" it's bad name ... are completely clueless.

Don't know your car, can't speak for it personally.... so I won't.

But I'm guessing from your sensitivity, that someone or a group of people have recently dissed your car for to much bling. Am I right?

Yeah, read a couple threads away from this one, titled "Gaytex" or something like that.

As far as this car goes......ummmmmm.......if you were going for a urban camo scheme, they didn't do a very good job, it really does look like a black and white cow.

Here are a few properly executed urban camo paint jobs (the FD isn't the best example, but still looks decent):

If you had your car repainted like one of these, it would look about 1000x better. You've got tons of straight lines and sharp edges now, camouflage is devoid of sharp edges and straight lines for good reason, straight lines and edges don't appear in nature very often, so they are a dead giveaway.

Well, regardless, the point was to show him what a proper camo job looks like, doesn't matter if it's paint or vinyl. His looks like a cow, these look like actually urban camouflage.
