E 85 how long will a 100 gal last ?

Anybody know if I buy a 100 gal. of E 85 if it will loose much in say 2 months?

I am assuming how long the octane will stay at the rated level, not how fast you will go through it driving your car.

It all depends on how you store it. A cool, dry, and dark place would be the best, uv has an affect on things. A metal container also helps over a plastic jug.

I'm sure Lucas or Aaron will also chime in, listen to them, they know what they're talking about.

I have used e85 that i have kept for two months, i can't tell you if it lost octane points but i can tell you that the car did not knock once on that tank. The tune is pretty aggressive running 30 pounds on a 61 trim with a magnus cast manifold.

I purchase from English around 100 gallons per season, The barrels sit for months till they are used up. So far at over 800 whp I have not noticed any issues what so ever for storing it over these periods of time. The key is air tight containers so moisture cant contaminate. Jeff
