yeah, then painting was another 8 hours? then another couple of hours of more levelling and blocking.... PIA. I love Novas, what year? My dad had a 68 Camaro and sold it too. I am restoring a 68 for my friend's dad and I have to do paint and body this summer and it's gonna take a very long time.

Just for kicks, here is a picture of my dad with his Camaro back in college:

i have 1975 Nova with 350ci cam, i did all build up and prep and paint, body work and rebuild engine...

now i have other Nova 1968 with 350 Stroke to 388ci for Drag.. im not done yet.. maybe done next year.. due funds.. damn economy!

that is 75 Nova.. pretty my first car.. took me rebuild long road.. and process.. cruzin High school.. didnt Drag it.. lol... I use 05 Corvette Torch Red paint on it.. K20 high Primer.. i use pretty PPG Global paints.. and 4 clears on it and Color sand and buffing..

I got Nova 75 in 2000.. and used it for while.. we upgrade interior all OEM brand new.. then I graduation HS. went College and took my Nova to Stipped Paint n primer to bare metal.. then Prime it.. alot blocks and rid of Orange peels and runs or sags.. then Put 2 or 3 Base Coat then Wet sand to smooth base coat.. one more base then Clear with Low VOC and I use Iwata LPH 400 paint gun with 1.3 needle...

My drag Nova might be Pearl White (thinkin flip flop or Tri coat) or something diffrent color with colors graphics

Yeah, I am. I go to Greenriver community college as of now. I have thought about transfering to CWU when I am done with my AA, but I will probably just go straight into law enforcement.

wow, that engine build sounds almost exactly like the one I did for my friend's Camaro. With the exception if I-beam rods instead of H-beam and I used Iron Eagle heads instead.

Oh nice, sounds like fun. You would have a lot of fun on the roads out here, just have to be conscientious of the cops.

Actually H beam is stronger than I.. Ill run over 800hp.. N/A for drag... and ill use Trick Racing fuel or Sunco Racing fuel over 114 octane on 14:1 Compression or more

wow, I would never do the prep work myself on a newer car... would scare me too much. That is an awesome color combo, maybe you should just rock the primer. hahaha

Yeah, H beams are stronger, but I wasn't gonna be running as much power as you so it doesn't matter too much.
