start callin' places!!! they're booking up fast. i know for sure that the host hotel has NO openings. you might try america's best value inn they have some when i talked to them last night.
I went to this yesterday and it was definately well worth the early morning and the hour and a half drive. We had considered skipping the parc expose and heading straight to wreck creek but I am soooo glad we decided to head to the parc expose...I got to meet a few of the drivers including Andrew "ACP" Comrie-Picard, Ken Block and Travis Pastrana. We made it to wreck creek in time to see stage 2 at wreck creek....I swear this is the only time in my life I didn't mind being pelted in the face with gravel
From there we headed to the Tahola stage.....after an 8 mile climb up a narrow mountain road, full of potholes and HUGE dips, I was extremely thankful we were smart enough NOT to drive my evo to this event....I'd probably have no bumper left
more rally action and observed people being COMPLETE idiots/hanging from branches over the course. We headed into to town to grab some lunch....wishing we had come MUCH more prepared. I highly recommend coolers filled with food and drinks to any of you who have never been before. Not taking one was our one mistake we made haha. The crane creek stage was unfortunately cancelled due to snow and ice on the course. The drivers finished out the day on the Tahola course heading in both directions. Overall I had an awesome experience and I will post pictures as soon as I get them all resized! I took over 170!!
I wish I could have stayed for todays action as well!! I hope you guys who headed down to the event today enjoy it as much as I did!
