'99 GSX Silverbullet goes Ballistic

English racing had a dyno day last weekend, so we decided at the end of the day we would put the Silverbullet to it's paces. Knowing that there was more power to be had we started turning up the boost 1 psi at a time. We started at 27 psi
(550whp) and ended at only 30 psi (617 whp and 510 trq) we are still getting about 22 hp per lb of boost so there is still more left in her, 650 whp maybe but I'm not really wanting to go after it. Just a recap on the car, 2.3 seven bolt stroker at 9:1, FP 3X cams, JMF intake, FP Red Turbo and some English Racing love.

That's right, is this your car headed to the Silver State, Jeff? That is going to be such a badass experience. In-laws are from Nevada and I've heard the stories but never been to the event myself.

Jake I'm excited to see yours go down the track, I was however surprised when I got the slip.

I can't believe you are doing that with a 7 bolt. You must be a glutton for punishment.

Incredible numbers on a 2g 7 bolt. Mine let go on my GS-T around 300whp on my evo3-16 about 5 years ago or so. Lol.
