First of all, I don't know what you were thinking drinking and driving.

1) Its not cool.
2) Could've gotten yourself killed.
3) You're making my insurance go up.

Best thing I can tell you to do is to shop around and try to get another insurer.

Don't know what else to tell you.

State Farm is extremely strict. Pretty much anyone is less strict than they are.

Try an Insurance Broker... they can shop many companies and get the best rate for your circumstance.

Hope you learned something and best of luck.

Vern Fonk will insurance ANYONE, plain and simple. But since they insure anyone, you're going to pay out the *** for it. My best friend had a wreckless/street racing and SR-22 on his record and Vern Fonk was the only company that would insure him. He was paying $450/mo. for a 1998 Eclipse GSX.

It's tough when you don't have a choice. Hopefully this experience has changed your thoughts on right and wrong.

+1 on that, and they do records reviews which most policies don't.

I think I used Farmer's in the past when I had momentary lapses from State Farm (SR-22) but we're talking many years ago...
