Hey guys whats up, names Chris moving up to Ft. Lewis this November and just wanted to start talking with some of the locals to get an idea of how the Evo scene out there. I'm in the army currently stationed in South Korea.

I own a 05 Evo 8, just got a tune on the 23rd of June when I was in KS on leave, made 439whp and 342 tq.

Welcome to Washington State! We have a couple vets on the forums, one of them being myself. ;P

We have a couple meet up at the South Hill Mall on Wednesdays, and a couple of other singular meets here and there. Check the forums out. =)

PS: Don't get a ticket. LOL.

how close is the nearest shop to get a tune from Ft. Lewis? How about English Racing, or ETS?

That's quite a mod list, Chris (saw it in the "introduce yourself..." thread). I have to imagine that Aaron down at ER can squeeze more power from your car when you arrive. I'm guessing you were on a Mustang, but where was the tune done? In Utah? Looking forward to meeting you in the future.

it was on a Dynojet, it was tuned in KS not UT. Thats were all the work was done, I want the hp and tq somewhat close so 440whp and 420ish trq would be nice.

Really, on a dynojet? I would imagine Aaron will be able to coax way more twist out of your setup at the very least. I'm on a stock IX turbo and most of the other mods are similar to yours (bolt-ons, cams, meth, etc.). With that setup I'm pushing more tq than you already.

I'm not too familiar with KS regarding the environment such as elevation, but I know it can get hot and humid in the summer so that could also be a major factor. I also very much realize that every dyno is different. I guess you'll find out later this year or so!

elevation about 800-900ft and 92-95 degrees with about 80% humidity cause it rained the night before.

That isn't too far off from here during the summer. I think you'll be happy with Aaron and ER in general!
