Nice.

Whoever is saying "order a clutch" is retarded, yeah I said it, learn how to diagnos a problem before you tell someone to drop a grand on a clutch. Idiots. Seriously, jeez, what retards.

Good job Mo, glad ya found it, and much cheaper than a master/slave! Told ya it had to be hydraulic. < I don't think I spelled that right, but, you know what, I don't care, I am gonna leave it like that, and that's how it's gonna be.

Woo whooo!

It's more common than you think, throwing parts at a problem. I think we've all done it at one time or another trying to figure out those 'unknown' problems.

Unknown is one thing, common sense is another. If your going to give advice to someone on how to fix their car, know how yourself.

Telling someone to buy a clutch, with no idea if theirs is worn at all. Especially if the problem is obviously hydraulic related, (at least if you know anything about the system), is both a waste of you time, and theirs as well as a potential waste of their money.

Agreed he should buy a clutch AT SOME POINT, but not now, and not when he has a problem that's not related to the flywheel/pressure plate.

KTHXBAI

Nice job, Mo. I don't mind the comment of "time for a new clutch" or whatever so much. However, there were several posts above that one that recommended looking for the leak as it was pretty clearly something like that wrong with the system. Ah well, I guess some people just don't read.

Who cares what e-diagnoses was given, people can throw out ideas from previous experiences... the point is that Mo has the worst luck in the world! Glad he found what was wrong and is fixing it yet again!

Do you know what clutch your gonna go with? My car already had an ACT stage 1 in it and its starting to wear out... I was thinking of just a ACT stage 2

Minimum of an ACT 2600, minimum. Should be good to around 500.

You probably should flush the entire clutch/brake system and put in new fluid. I change mine every year, it will make a huge difference.

I have no idea, it broke where the hardline meets to a softline right under the battery, I believe it is the line from the slave cylinder

I would like to go with something from exedy. maybe a twin plate but that may be a little overkill, I would like something that will hold and stay reliable

Yes that is something that for sure will have to be done, I was actually planning on it

Actually the twin is very streetable, I daily drive mine, and had it put in when I only had 300 hp cause I knew my upgrade path... no need to get parts you are going to replace later on down the road... set a realistic mod path off the get go!
