For those of you that just talked crap about PINKS! you missed a hell of a show on Saturday. 467 cars for the 2 day event. They did a final 32 (32 cars with .04 of each other in the low 9's). Races were extremely fair in the bracket sense, 90% of the races were won only by a bumper or 1/2 a fender. There were a few delays, 1 wreck, and numorous track cleaning sessions, but I can honestly say, entertainment/cost, it was easily one of the best $25 I've ever spent. You can see that there is some editing magic in the TV shows, but for the most part, what you see on TV is what you get. (They shut the time boards down during the sweet 16 part, but they still use the timing traps, so the "We have to go to the slow motion shot at the finish line" stuff is BS, but it makes for the show. I will definately be going again next year if they come thru here again.

And no, they don't know who's going to win before the end of the show. It was real drag racing, live, and ton of fun!

Johns Evo was by the bathroom, if you looked close enough, the front windshield has "Racer, tow vehicle" sticker in it.

I know, Mike, John, Bryan, and Robert were there, I went with a co-worker whos birthday it was, and he ended up catching a T-shirt!

Pinks was definitly pretty fun.
