Your definition of WWJBD definitely made me laugh!

I'd rock the STY bigger if I wasn't scared of getting keyed (too many subi's everywhere I go). Going for a stealthy look with white on my silver. We'll see.

There's no confusion here. Stop trying to sell **** you ripped off from someone else, then complaining that someone else copied you.

I have much better things to do than worry about losing money on a stupid 5 dollar sticker.. You're a guy with a computer and a plotter like me. I did the same thing you did... I vectorized an image, modified it to parody, and cut it out in vinyl..... at about 20 times the size you did.... I made no money and clearly stated nothing about selling them.... You can't prove any losses from this so you have no actions to take.... I can assure you that you won't see another one from me.... I think Subaru might have something to say about the likeness of your sticker though..... You might look that up..... Good luck with your stickers mam
Copyright law says a design must be changed 20% from the original to be considered unique. (Worked at a skateshop for a small while helping the owner with a vinyl machine, and his own embroidry machine) Considering STI is 3 letters, making it STY would be a 33% design change /shrug. Dunno how technical they are about it though. Worst case, you'd get a cease and desist from Subi lawyers... if they really cared.

They'd argue that the font and general shape is more significant than the 3 letters.

Laws have changed a bit since back in the day..... thats why all the skate companies that were using big corprorate logos as their own and changing them just enough dont do it any more.... The most you can claim is its a parody and hope you have a good enough lawyer to fight it.... Likeness has a huge part to do with copyright laws these days.... I had a long talk with person who was being sued by mooneyes for a spoof shirt she created.... The design was changed quite a bit, but again likeness has everything to do with it.... Like WSB said, its really down to wether or not a company cares enough about it......

None of what I said is for arguement sake, just fyi..... I am in the middle of trying to get my sign and graphics side business off the ground and have been doing alot of research in these areas.... The last thing I want to do is get the rep as "the guy who is good at copying stuff"....

I'm lovin the WWJBD idea....
Maybe a little bald dude standing next to it wearing a sweatshirt with a question mark above his head.

I'd rock that.
I'm thinking I may hop on photoshop tonight if I'm bored....
