Washed the car today...
I have the springs (spec-R's), just not the time to do it. Probably next weekend.
The worst was at the Deception Pass cruise - I looked like a monster truck with all the nicely lowered Evos.

I just left the monster truck scene with swift sports--- not super slammed but low enough to scrape every speed bump unless going .0005 mph
I'm seriously thinking about going wingless with a JDM Rear Bumper and a Duckbill trunk. I think it looks sweet.
Lowered the Evo and get some Deepdish Volk TE-37s.........
And get Voltex Sideskirts and Fron bumper with Canards......
Now thats my Evo.
But thats like $10,000 dollars away...... =(

Yea mine is on coilovers in the front and tiens in the back.. that was how it was when i got it, i have the stock struts with the tiens for the front but i kinda like how low the front is.
Repairing the wing in the fashion you've already read about should be a simple matter. Let us know if you have any issues with it.
The only advice i'd give when using rattle-can clear coat is that you need to warm the cans up first to aid in smooth application. I suggest getting a cooler or large water-tight tub and put the cans in very warm water (not scalding hot). When I have a project like this thats visual I like to put the cans about 80% submerged and let them sit for about an hour, refreshing the tank with warm water as it cools.
Lastly, get a snap-on nozzle that has a trigger. Your finger will get tired quite quickly when using the cans and that can lead towards heavy/thin areas.
Good luck!

im actually having it painted with automotive clear, the guy that works with me paints older cars on the side and he said he would throw some clear on for me.
He just wants me to get it sanded down and prepped. than he will shoot it for me and help me wet sand it up and buff it.

Wow just wow...the evo is turning into the modern day honda. Go shoot your previous owner.
