My trip to English Racing
1.) 3 hour drive to vancouver
2.) 2 hours on the dyno trying to diagnose problems with the car
3.) having your engine seize on the way to their other shop
4.) 3 hour wait in camas at their shop, to get rescued ( THX ANGIE!!!
)
5.) a 4 hour drive back realizing that you are without your car again for an unknown amount of time with another blown motor

Dude, that has to be the worse bit of luck ever. On the brightside least it became apparent that your S was F'd at the shop and not on the highway somewhere on the way home. We'll dig into it and see what we can figure out. Hopefully its not down for long and you'll have us double and triplechecking stuff before it even goes to the dyno after its rebuilt.

Haha, I have to.
1) 3 hour drive to vancouver - by MYSELF with a Rockstar, gummy bears, and trail mix to keep me up
2) picking up 2 tired & cranky guys (and 2 souvenir stickers)
3) 4 hr drive back with Tyler's head blocking most of my mirror
, listening to whoever sang those really weird songs, gerbil one in particular
, but entertained none the less4) finally pulling in to my drive way for the last time at 10:30 pm, after going to work at 5 am & heading straight to ER when I was off at 2, tired, exhausted, but.... being able to look back and be happy I had my car in the drive way helped (& made me feel bad for Tyler)
Next time, It'll hopefully be a better trip.
Oh man, that still just sucks.
Like I said though, at least their standing behind their work. It could be worse, but at least you will know it will be done right this time.
And like Aaron said, they will be cautious this time, double checking everything.

^I don't think they did the original work on the car, but I could be wrong.
Sorry to hear this, Tyler! That sucks major *****! I hope they get it figured out soon, and it isn't a major hit.
BTW - I wondered why Angie flew down to ER on a whim. Now I unfortunately know.

Yeah we didnt do the work to begin with. I meant rather than double and triple check someone elses work ON our dyno, that would all be done before it even left the shop FOR the dyno. I made one pull and knew something was very wrong. Mainly it was about getting the idle and cruise stuff done. The car had a total of 4 pulls on the dyno. 3 aborted, 1 full pull. It was pretty much seized by the time it got to the main shop from the dyno.
