So today I went back to Hidden Wave and picked up a Lib-Tech Skate Banana Board, size 159w. Just need to get boots and bindings, if all goes well I should have those by this weekend. Then maybe next weekend if I don't work, I want to make a drive up to Baker.

so what's the deal with chains? When I lived in Wisconsin chains were illegal and we got plenty of snow there every year.

^usually posted per pass on the way up. When the road gets bad you will usually see "traction tires/chains required, except 4wd" or something like that. A good set of siped all-season/snow tires + awd is where it is at!

Took some pics of my board. The detail in Spawn's face is a little weird in the picture but looks perfect in person:

Bottom of the board - I love this graphic for some reason:

Drake Podium CF bindings (toight!)

Drake F-60s that I've liked and thought they were cool:

Yeah, never had a problem even with just all seasons on the Evo. Dunno how the snow is there, but there's times the canyons are pretty sketchy and I'm still cruising fine. It is a rally car, don't forget that. The Porsche even did fine with snow tires on. I'm excited for this year... Plenty of room for gear and people and snow tires. Chains and studded tires are for people with cheap tires or REALLY bad storms (or people who live places that don't snow much, so the road service is horrible, as you can imagine here it is perfect we have a ton of like military grade snow plows )

It is finally dumping on us today Some of the resorts opened last weekend, but only a few runs. Today is the first real day of decent snow everywhere. Dunno if it'll stick in the valley because the temps are supposed to go up again, but it'll sure stick up in the mountains! Time to go quest for new boots and hit the slopes!

Evo mountain meet is a good idea. Maybe I'll see if all the Utah guys want to get together for something. Haha, I'm like a little kid on Christmas when I woke up to snow today.

Weekdays don't work for me, I am in on a Sat, or Sun for sure though.

I have Ride boot's Tim, I thought they might have been Burton, I got them last season along with the binding's but didn't go that much.

Yeah, probably at least 3 inches outside... It'll melt this week though most likely.
