Hello, my name is Lia. I am the proud owner of a beautiful 06 gg ix mr. I went from a 350z nismo to an evo, cant wait to see what this thing can do on the track! A good friend will be detailing the car as I speak, and I get to pick up the car on wednesday, YAY!!
Big thanks to edison. i have been reading NW local chat, and I am aware of the comments made by local members. I wanted to clear a few things up for him today.
Edison and i have a mutual friend, which happen to be a very close friend of mine for many years, vouched for edison and told me not to let drama get in the way.
He called me last night and explained to me about the drama on NW and the two transactions. Edison was very mature about the whole situation, didn’t point any fingers to me about the negative comments made against him.
All I can say is that I can’t believe in what people say on a forum without hearing both sides of the story. It really is all hearsay drama. I don’t know the other guy but I believe in what I see and what Edison did for me to make me feel comfortable in buying his car. The first thing he offered was to take the car to body shops for inspection, and he told me if there are any signs of the car involved in accidents, he will void the contract and give me my full deposit back. He took half day off work and drove me to 2 different body shops on the eastside, one which was of my choice and one his; car was lifted for full detailed inspection, and both shops confirmed the car has never been in any accident. In addition to that, he paid for the labor cost as well as provided records of all the parts purchased on the car and servicing records from westwerks.
I was hesitant at first from all the rumors but after seeing the condition of the car especially with the extra steps Edison went and took just to make me feel safer about buying and really not having to worry anything after, all doubts were gone: this is a guy that takes great care of his cars.
We don’t have full control over every minute of our lives, and everyone deserves a break. So what if there were a few delays? The man’s not trying to run a business and he tried his best to fix the situation afterwards. As far as the cobb ap, my friend happens to be there with Edison when he shipped out the ap as well as driving him back from to the post office.
Edison’s a great guy, I haven’t known him personally but from what my friend says and the short but frequent encounters we had throughout this transaction says it all. That’s why I’m here today trying to do a part of what I can for him after reading what’s been said. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion but frankly if you guys don’t know the guy, don’t make haste judgments based off of one side. Everyones innocent until proven gulity right? I’m sure if Edison’s had time to respond to PM’s he’d had time to clear up his name on the forums instead of accused of being MIA. We’re all adults here, and we share a common interest so let’s focus on that and move on. Thanks for reading guys!

FWIW, I came from a minty 350z roadster. all i miss from that car is torque. not really the convertable roof beceause it gets too damn hot!
