FWIW - siomai is the one thing that they don't make as well as other locations IMO, but it is still good. Of course, it could be my western tongue that could be wrong!

So, we've turned the post-XXX Pochi thread into a pre-XXX dim sum thread? Haha. Sorry Pochi guys. We're sort of notorious for around here.

 

I am still going to post XXX Pochi... I have all day saturday... its time for me to meet the Everett guys and gals anyways

 

I think most of us are planning on the Pochi post-XXX. We are horrible about OT though.

Josel, they have siomai at Top Gun but IMO the siomai at Noble Court (another restaurant) is just a little better. Again, the siomai at Top Gun might be more traditional or what have you, so we'll see.

Regardless, Top Gun is better than Noble Court, and is also cheaper.

Looks like there could be some rain but not much. Temps are supposed to be in the 50's which is much better than the 20's during the last XXX meet!

^agreed. I've also had dim sum in taiwan and even Japan that was simply incredible....as it well should have been.

I was surprised at how good it was in Japan, until I got the bill. It was $600+ USD, and thankfully the company I worked for picked up the tab. I got duped into going to this place as it was my turn to pay.

I'll see you guys at Top Gun around 10 AM. I'm bound to get there early. If its anything like the Chinatown Dim Sum places...... I'll be there by 9 AM. =X

 

It doesn't open till 10. From the sounds of it, I think a few are planning to meet up at 9:30, probably at the P&R by your place. I have a private lesson, so I can't make dim sum. I'm super bummed. I can't even roll in with everyone to XXX which means I'll be fighting for a loner parking spot across the street probably since my lesson is 11-12. GRRRR. I'm at least going to try to see if my girl will swap her 10am one with me and then I can actually go to XXX on time. At least I can look forward to the drive from XXX to Pochi with ya'll.
