Is this a good deal on tint?
I got the old tint taken off my evo and new 15% tint put on for $50 :P. A series of lucky/unlucky events led up to that one though. It's pretty nice for a daily driver, at first I was regretting not going with 5% like on my Camaro but I think 15% is pretty good. I don't even know why anyone would bother with 35%.
Automotive applications go from $100-$1000 depending on film and location - that's right, some films are actually WORTH $1,000 for a car. I got my car tinted last month and I'm really impressed with the results. I asked help from www.TintBuyer.com. They provided me relevant information about tints such as its types, quotations, laws involved in every state and most importantly they help me locate the best window tinters near my area.
Hey Yahu, I just got my tint done from Carlos at Darkside. I went 35% all around and i am satisfied of his work. I payed 246 after tax. I don't have picture of the car with the new tint but i'll post one up later. I would have never went there without your recommendation. The shop doesn't look the most appealing but English's shop had already thought me not to judge the quality by the look of the store.
your getting shafted with that price but a little help with the law, no tints are legal. if the cop wants to give you a ticket, your getting one. since your such a "forum pro" id thought it would be nice to give you my input
who the fugg are you referring to? BTW - different states have different laws. Look it up before your l33t experience proves...otherwise.
