Baby's got some new shoes
1990-1992 DSM's had the 6 bolt engines which refers to the number of bolts that hold the flywheel to the crankshaft. It doesn't refer to the main caps. In 98 (maybe 99) they switched the main bearing design to a split thrust style just like the EVOs have which pretty much eliminated the crankwalk issue.
The 1g DSM's had flip up headlights from 90-91 but the OP's car is a 92-94 which is still a 1g but a little more rounded on the bumpers and headlights.
Sorry to highjack the thread. That is a very nice 1gb Talon you have there. I'm liking the black on black cars theme you have going.
nice! once long ago and far away I owned a white 1ga! I loved that car!
Thanks Aaron, it definately looks better than the peeling clearcoat look I had going on!
Guess I'm going to have to hunt up some black wheels for my truck and the Wife's truck:
decisions decisions!

Johnny, with a spring with enough thought put behind it, you can achieve a good looking stance without having to worry about blowing struts and scraping pavement.
I knew vicksen had put Robispec springs on his Evo MR when he had it, but when I went for a ride, the thought never crossed my mind. The ride quality was still great and not harsh at all. They don't dump the car down ridiculously low, either.

The Robispec 1" drop is in between the Swift Spec-R and the GTWorx springs.
I can't find anyone posting they didn't like their Robispec springs.
My head is about to explode! there is so much krap/conflicting information on this board, it reminds me of tooners! I suppose I should just order something and try them, if they don't work out I can always change up later.
John-
John, I the overall consensus I've read is you'll be happy with the Spec-Rs, GTWorx, and the Robi springs. As far as the #1 pick, I think you'd just have to understand how much drop you want, if you want the front to come down more than the rear to level out some, etc.
