BBQ/Tech Day - May 9
Angie is correct. WAPCE wouldn't go for either tech day at our place or me taking the kids and bailing. Note to future planners, stay away from significant other-type holidays.
I'm helping Jason install this stuff and suggested he open it up to the rest of the group in the hopes that someone would offer up their place since I'm very limited on space in my neighborhood. I have room for one car in the garage, one on a ~30 deg inclined driveway, and whatever street parking you can find. We're actually knocking this out tonight so the Sunday BBQ/tech day probably won't happen unless someone has the room for it.

It might take us all night just to get his undertray off. Wait, I mean it might take Jason all night to get his undertray off while I point out the ones he missed!
The initial plan was to do it all Sunday though.

LOL @ the last 2 posts! And hell yes I axed. wapce is chill about stuff like that, plus I approached it like "how about for mother's day we have a bunch of Evo peeps installing stuff in the garage? No? Okay, how about for mother's day I take the kids and you get the day to yourself? Hmmm, also no."
Well I was hopeing to get the Spring BBQ season started but finding the space is proving difficult. As far as tech stuff thats really just an excuse to get people together.
We got it all done but you know nothing on an Evo is straight forward. Jason has an APR splitter so at least we didn't have a stock undertray to mess with. There were two allen head screws holding the splitter to the engine support frame that were a PITA to get off though due to their previous contact with Seattle streets. Getting the intake in also takes longer than Perrin suggests due to the tight space. I was also a tad unnerved to see that the stock LICP is attached to the vehicle with two brackets but the ETS pipe is not. It's only attached to the vehicle by the two couplers on either end. I'm sure it'll stay on just fine but eliminating support brackets always makes be go hrrrmmm.
