It was fun meeting everyone. Way to top of my birthday! Very nice evos came out. Hope to do it sometime again. BBQ tech day turned out good. Thanks Andrew for letting me come out and meet part of the northend folks, really glad I had the opportunity to meet new people. Definately turn down any day to do it again. Sorry for not getting to introduce myself to everyone, I was awed by the awesomeness of everyones presence. Thanks again!

The turnout was pretty damn good lol good times too! I'm glad you all showed up, it was cool meeting everyone (only knew Dan, Francis, and Ryan before yesterday).

If no one else wants to host in the next month or so, I may do another one in August, we'll see.

I leave August 3rd for 5weeks so it would be awesome to do one the end of July so I could attend

What kit did you go with again? I think I'm going to order it. I liked the break lines! I need to get new rotors but not sure which ones to get.

Josel got Stage 1 and Ryan got stage 2 lights with the Budget rotors and painted them himself. I got the SS lines and fluid out of Josel's kit since he primarily wanted the pads. The price was good because they placed their order together and Josel used his Canadian powers not to have to pay sales tax. The SS lines usually retail for $120 on girodisc's site, which is a tad bit on the expensive side. I am going to be getting pads and rotors soon through MAPerformance and will likely be going with EBC reds & either Rotorpros Performance Plus Rotors (slotted and coated) or RacingBrake Rotors depending on how much I decide I want to spend.

I would suggest checking out MAPerformance too. IMO they are the place for all things Evo.

My pastor touched me, I love this country!

Note: Nothing wrong with fapping while working on cars.

Brake update: everything went in fine and even with the limited bedding in process the manifold paint on the rotors cured properly and is doing quite well.

For those wondering, the Magic pads by Girodisc are OEM replacements, and not really an "upgrade" which is a bit dissapointing. But at $150 for all 4 corners, they are a steal!
