Arsenal Motorsports gone?

What's the deal with the shop lately, a friend of mine has been trying to get in touch with CJ but every way to try to is a dead end. The site is no longer around it appears as well.

Ouch.

Seemed like a good shop too. Might've just attracted the wrong customers.

Or not enough customers. There are a few shops down here that are closing doors as well. Not us of course, but one has been open for quite awhile.

Luke, who else is shutting down?

Or is that Aaron posting, the grammar seems to be spot on.

Then there are shops that we scratch our heads about, wondering how they stay in business.

When others are throwing in the towel its time to expand. Think of all the big growth spurts in successful businesses. North End location go! Just think of all the potential new customers between the Military (revolving customer base ftw), Canadians with a strong currency and no decent tuning shops in Vancouver, plus the local SCCA and Bremerton autocrosser scenes. Maybe add in more of a focus on internet sales 'ala MAPs drop ship business model' until things pick up (an internet manager can work from anywhere right). I think the Everett or Marysville areas would be ideal for location and cheap cost of land. Then run group buys/installs on things like BBKs, Speed Density, etc. (peer pressure works on enthusiasts no doubt).

A presense closer to the population center of the State just makes sense. Worst case scenerio you get a hefty tax right off.

Just a thought.

+1 to nemsin's idea.

canadian evo owners (which is growing in numbers btw since the importing laws changed in 2008) b1tch about how far english racing is. i kept telling them its worth the drive but they dont understand that. i guess not most people have the time to make the trip. seriously ER, you guys should consider opening a northend location.

sucks that arsenal motorsports closed. hey eric, did they even finished installing a dyno?

Lucas and Aaron are welcome to come tune out of VTR anytime... course i need to get a dyno. But seriously I would consider it if I could get a regular northend commitment.

From my understanding, CJ closed Arsenal so he could allow working on projects an enjoyable task for himself again.

Shops going under? I don't think that's the case. Probably just happened out there. Here in Tacoma thru Auburn, if anything, there are more and more popping up.
