Vegas, *****es!!
If you're there to see shows I highly recommend Ka at MGM. I think you can get discounted tix too. If you're there to gamble and are decent at Poker I'd highly suggest getting into some small tourneys. They are running constantly at every casino and some of the small ones are easy to win and walk away a couple hundred up.
Edit - more info:
Circue du Soleil is offering Summer of Cirque: All Cirque du Soleil Shows in Las Vegas from $50.
Shows included:
Mystere from $50 + fees
Zumanity from $50 + fees - offer code: zumanity
KA Live from $50 + fees - offer code: MGM
The Beatles LOVE from $50 + fees
CRISS Angel from $50 + fees - offer code: luxor
Viva ELVIS from $50 + fees - offer code: ARIA
Note: An additional electronic fee of $5 and convinience fee of $12.50 is applied.
^personally I'd do what I can to see what could be waived regarding additional fees.

This may sound hard to believe but out of all the shows I have seen in Vegas, Carrot Top was actually the best. That guy was soo damn funny in person. He's at the luxor. The Kris Angel show is ok but pricey. If you are in to like dueling piano bars there is one at Harrahs that is pretty good.

the shows would be nice. where do you book it from, bellagio? any links? what would be the best buffet? asian(ti?), american(?), brazil(via or texas?), any good kids shows(circus?) thanks again.
^Noooo, not slots! The house has you there!
My luck is horrible on slots, but my wife and her family have good luck on them.
I had a link in my post, you even reposted it. It is the link for "Summer of Cirque."
There are good buffets everywhere. I've had a good one at the Luxor (long ago, so can't vouch for current status), also at the Harrah's (again, long ago). I'd highly suggest Texas de Brazil as that is buffet style - they just keep bringing you meat until you pop!
For kids...Circus Circus is your best bet. I've only been to the one in Reno, but it must be the same or better. That or if the kids are old enough, Stratosphere!
Have fun!
