As the stig says "The subaru is a good boys car. But the evo is a mans car"

Hmmm not that I am surprised but Gruppe-S had told me that it was no longer possible to get them pre painted. That and the front bumpers according to the dealerships I work with.

I ordered a vortex generator from Gruppe-S just before christmas and they swore up and down it was painted. This was after talking with mitsubishi-parts.net, and calling a few local dealerships here to check. When the part arrived it was unpainted. I called Gruppe-S who did a bunch of back research just to check. Sure enough, the VG at least is not offered painted anymore by Mitsubishi. They made things right, but there's definately some confusion on painted vs. unpainted factory parts. My understanding is, when they changed from the CT9A chassis, they stopped offering painted parts at this time. (Assembly lines shutting down, unpainted = old stock.)

Gruppe S are notorious for false advertising imo...between their exhausts I have inquired about and their listing for APR lips I have ran into. That or their sales rep's are ill advised on the products they sell.
