I call my gf a hoe all the time (its usually followed quickly by her calling me a skank or some such)

Back on topic though, I wont be allowed to work (try to every year... tripple time FTW), and I now live in Fireworknazi controlled Everett, so I got nothing to do.

I'll be working Saturday, 12-830, but I'll have Sunday and Monday off, so if we can work it in there, then for sure

So this means to me "You guys can party at my house while i'm out of town"

Is that what was intended?

1) Fireworks were saved, albeit at about 75% of the expense as last year so expect less fireworks but the same sh-it storm of traffic trying to leave that god forsaken place. Holy heck traffic is aweful leaving the Lake Union area after fireworks!

2) i'm still in even with traffic, but will rock one of my parents cars (had 2 drunks start a fight and damage my '98 Eclipse GST during the aftermath of a 4th of july party at gasworks, right there in the street between cars.... we "took care of them" as in rolled them and threw them in the bushes)

I'm in!

Maybe a nice cruise before drinking a few brews and watching some fireworks? (it's illegal to fire any fireworks off anywhere around here. Doesn't mean we can't find a good place to do it anyway, hahaha like my back yard hahaha)

hmmmmmm: beer:

this sounds good. is the fireworks view-able to a less crowded area (higher elevation like a local mountain or a bridge for example)?

Well, Gasworks Park is a hug open park right next to the Pugest Sound, and they'll have a barge where the the Fireworks are going to be fired off from so thats still a good vantage point.

Getting early is going to be the big thing to get some space, although I won't be off of work until 4:00 PM at the latest. =(

We can do a BBQ at my place for this. It'll give me an excuse to finally move the grill out of the garage. I live just over 2 miles from Gas Works park if you guys want to meet at my place and head over there for the fireworks show at 10pm. A $2 bus ride gets us within a .5 mile walk or we might even be able to catch the show from the Fremont bridge. If you're going to drive down there for it, I doubt you'd be able to find a parking spot closer anyways. I have room for 2 cars in my driveway so you guys should definitely carpool.

^ Can you get enough from selling her for the suspension?

Sounds like a good deal to me!

Let me check in with the 4th of July accompanyment regarding staging at Minh's prior to the festivities.

Note: watching from the freemont bridge is a pretty dicy affair due to the number of others up there, it gets packed and you have cars rushing past you like 3' away so its not exactly peaceful.

Freemont Roulette?

I'm down. GF gets off at noon, I can head over any time after 1ish.

Traffic after the fireworks will be no joke and can easily ruin an otherwise fun night. I think I spent 3 hrs stuck in traffic last time I had the misfortune of driving to a Seattle fireworks show.

A BBQ earlier in the day sounds good though.
