^have you ever driven an Evo around a track without a wing? How about around fast corners? I wouldn't exactly count those as bogus. I'm sure even this Focus "wing" provides some level of downforce.
You can even see/feel the downforce the wing provides by taking the car into a car wash with those turbo-jet dryers. the whole rear of the car drops when it hits the wing just right. Granted, that is not what I would consider ideal conditions.

^I think I misinterpreted bogus. I read bogus as "false," so I read the phrase "I mean that is just as bogus as an evo or sti wing..." as you saying it was non-functional. I didn't think you were referring to the look.
I must not be down with the urban dictionary, yo.
