I managed a new personal best in my Talon

On the 1st run of the day 10.825 @ 139.25 - this was the cars 1st clean pass through the traps in 2 seasons!

And then I busted the transmission on the next pass!

The block is done, two big holes in the front and back side.. #2 went out on me, it looks like the rod couldn't take the power any more and failed.

The head looks like it should be fine, going to take it to the machine shop tomorrow to have it checked out. I am currently on the look out for a 2.0 block since I want to be able to rev the motor out and the 2.4 limited me on that.

Who knows, I might just put it back to stock and sell it and go back and build another honda again lol

dam...eagles?...you could just buy another 4g64 block and run a little crank...64 blocks are cheaper then 63's,plus you still have some high rpm potential...hondas are fun but i like hooking all my power haha

Yeah, Eagles.. my build was 3+ years old and held up for over 35K miles at always over 550+.. but then a few months ago I went ahead and made some changes and it been at 690/580 and I am sure thats what killed it off.

My shopping list is going to be pending on what the machine shop has to say tomorrow.

35k miles on any built 4g block is a damn good run!
