As some of you may remember they had one last year, its great competition and it goes to a great cause. im posting this up so we can try to get coordinated unlike we were last year. im in the process of making up donation letters to take around and some other things. im personally gonna put up $400 so anything any of you can contribute to the fund would be appreciated. Pm or text me for the super secret details.

Last year there was only a handful of us who donated and we still ended up with over 600 lbs and a 3rd place finish behind the Subie and Lx forums, so if we can a good dozen of us or so this year i think we'll have a good chance to win, and all donations are going to the Volunteers of America. id like to keep the details of what i have in the works away from prying eyes, so hit me up for a good cause if interested. thx

Here are the details of tis years food drive.

VTR's Annual Holiday food drive starts Oct 2nd!

Here are the rules: Each forum will be given a designated area for there donations. On November 20th the saturday before Thanksgiving we will transport all of the donations to the Everett VOA for the weigh in. The forum with the most donations gets on the perpetual plaque in our showroom. Last year we had just under 4000lbs combined for all forums. Lx forums won last year.

Recommended items:

Canned foods
Dry food
anything non-perishalble
Here are some other items recommended on the VOA website.

Baby essentials, including diapers, baby wipes and formula
School supplies and backpacks, leading into school
Summer camp equipment and supplies
Holiday toy and gift drive
Shoes and boots - anytime!
Household and laundry cleaners, toiletries and feminine personal hygiene products

This is for a great cause and the VOA last year said we were the 2nd largest non corporate donation brought in.

Time to dig deep and help those less fortunate than us.

It's on! Subies jumped into the lead with the first donations.

Subies have added to their barrel and the Evo crew has added to their barrel. And then there is the LX crew... here is what they started with!

Last year we donated almost 4000lbs total, we need to break that record!

 

Did my share of it just now... About 50lbs, we are looking petty sad, I might have to make a second trip!

 

Is there details on drop off location? Im interested, havent taken part of this drive before.

Also, is there a meet on Nov. 20th for final weigh in?

 

vtr had a meet up last year to load it up and drop it off at the VOA. Also the deal ihave spoken to some of you about hasnt gone as quickly as i had hoped but i should have some info later today . if anyone i havent spoke to is interested in the details send me a pm.
